If you’d like to write an article for us and to show off your science fiction and fantasy modeling talents in our pages we’d love to hear from you! Here are a few general guidelines to help you tailor your piece for our readership: Photographs: All digital photographs accompanying your article should be high resolution*, please, and all models/ construction-stage shots should preferably be photographed against plain, uncluttered backgrounds such as sheets of white or pastel coloured art paper or smooth sheets of plain fabric. Worktop shots are an obvious exception to this rule. Copy: We are a specialist modelling title. Our readers LOVE modelling detail, so the more of it you can cram into your article, the better that article will be received. How you made your model, what you made it from and the materials and methods you used in constructing and finishing it should all be explained in your submission. Word count: As we are now a book-format publication we can incorporate articles of varying lengths into a single issue. In other words, use as many words as you feel are necessary to unfold the complete story of your modelling project. There’s no need to skimp on your description if you have a lot to tell us, we will be happy to give your piece the amount of space it deserves. Photographs* and copy should be emailed to Mike Reccia at: [ info@scififantasymodeller.co.uk ] * If you are supplying digital photography please take your shots with the
highest resolution your camera is capable of. |
